Good afternoon!

Many have been asking if there are any updates on the Lake Beseck Dam project.

I have just a quick update that I received today.

Jennifer Perry, DEEP stated that they are awaiting one last permit. The job has not yet gone out to bid but she indicated that they HOPE to have bids by the end of August or September and will start work no earlier than November 1st.

She also mentioned that it will take approximately 2-4 weeks to drain the lake, depending on the weather.
